Hero Twins Pictures is accepting submissions for an untitled DV feature film to be shot in Fall, 2006, in Indianapolis, Indiana.  This R-rated dark comedy will be shopped around at the top twenty film festivals with the hopes of landing a lucrative distribution deal.  Written, co-directed (by myself and my twin bro, Billy), and starring yours truly, this film, I steadfastly believe, will be a success, both artistically and financially, and I am looking for dedicated and talented actors to join the cast.  To date, only two of the male leads (not listed below) have been cast, meaning that all of the female leads, as well as all of the supporting roles and other male leads are up for grabs.  All told, approximately 45 speaking roles are available, so check out the partial list of characters and submit accordingly.  Copy, credit, and meals provided.  Pay for all roles requiring nudity and possible deferred pay for others.  Please email headshots & resumes to me at sitcomactor3@yahoo.com.  If you don't have a headshot, simply include a recent pic or two.  Also, please indicate which roles you'd like to be considered for, and we'll go from there.  Thanks for stopping by and good luck!

Casting Update, April 28, 2005:

We still haven't cast Abby or Jill.  We have many great choices for both roles, but are currently accepting taped auditions (of sides) for those interested & who fit the bill.  Several other roles have yet to be cast as well, including one of the Thugs (a really good role), and several other roles (both male & female)...If you haven't submitted a P/R and are interested, please do so ASAP.  Thanks.

Casting Update, December 18, 2003:    To date, we've had seven rounds of auditions, five here in Indy and two in Chicago.  As of today, we have not yet officially cast any of the roles, although a handful of roles have been pretty much wrapped up.  We've seen a ton of great talent and can see that the cast is shaping up very nicely.  Some of you who've auditioned for us, we know we want to use you, but we're not sure for which role yet, partially because we haven't yet decided on a few key roles.  Once those primary decisions have been made, most of the others will fall nicely into place.  We've seen so many talented actors that we now have the difficult, yet envious, position of picking the perfect person for each particular role.  It's a daunting task, but a good problem to have, I suppose.  We'd like to make it back up to Chicago one more time, but fear that Old Man Winter will make that impossible (to plan, rent the space, etc, only to get snowed out at the last moment).  So, as many of you already know, we are asking that anyone who can put something on tape (sides, monologues, previous work, etc.) to do so, as that will make our job that much easier, and give you an opportunity to perform outside of the normal cold read realm.  In addition, we will undoubtedly have at least one more Indy round (after the holidays), as we are still trying to figure out a few key roles.  Our goal is to make most, if not all, casting decisions next month.  If you are submitting for the first time (or if you have already submitted), please include your email address with your contact info so that it's easier for me to reach you, particularly since I generally work into the wee hours on the film (which is too late to call any of you with normal sleeping habits:).  Also, while you are welcome to submit via online inititially, we prefer that you also send us a hard copy to our PO Box as well, as it is becoming nearly impossible to keep track of those submitting solely via online.  Finally, I'm still in desperate need of a Gwenyth Paltrow lookalike, so if you know anyone who really looks like her, please send them my way.  While it'd be ideal to have Gwenyth herself make the necessary cameo appearance, I don't yet exist for her or any of the other big-time players (not yet anyway:), so I'm looking everywhere for her identical clone.  I'll undoubtedly have better luck in LA, but I thought, surely, someone in Indy or Chicago could fit the bill. 

As for me personally, I have been hitting the weight room & watching the diet more so that I can get the bod into stellar shape for the film.  The goal is to look like Brad Pitt in "Fight Club," and I'm determined to accomplish said goal.  The face won't be as pretty, but the body will leave America gasping (whatever:).  May your holidays be blessed with family, friends, love, and laughter.  Peace, y'all...
